Q. Can I send jobs to the print station from my laptop computer?
I would like to be able to send a job to the print station from my laptop computer.
It would be awesome to be able to send a document to the print server without having to wait for the library computers to load my userprofile and then access my document via dropbox or thumb-drive or whatever I would use, and then printing.
Instead it would be much faster and easier to send a document to the print server while I'm sitting with my laptop over in the study rooms or across campus, and then just walk into the library, log into the print station, and click print!
Can we make this happen please!?
Printing from personal devices is not available at HCC. Printing is managed by a print monitoring system that is not accessible from personal devices dues to security and financial concerns. There are no pending plans to implement this feature.
