To log-in from off-campus:
- Go to the Library’s home page.
- Click on Access Library Resources & Services.
- Mouse over Search & Find.
- Click on the Databases link.
- If you know the database you need:
- Click on a letter that corresponds to the name of the database you need.
- Click on the name of the database you need.
- If you only have a general subject area:
- Change the All Subjects dropdown to the subject you need.
- Click on the name of a database to select it.
- If you know the database you need:
- Enter the following information when prompted:
- Username: your user ID is your HCC email address (@howardcc.edu)
- Password: your password is your HCC password
- If you need to set/reset your password, use the Password Services or call the Technology Service Center at 443-518-4444.
Current HCC credit students, faculty and staff may use the databases from many off-campus locations. Please be aware that security firewalls may prevent access to the Library's electronic resources, especially from work places, other libraries, and other networked locations.
