Q. What kind of resources do you provide for students with disabilities?
What, if any, kinds of assistive technology does the library provide? This can include both information technology, like screen readers, optical character recognition, and speech recognition software; and technology to assist with physical access, like adjustable desks. Does the library staff receive training on how to best to assist patrons with special needs? Are any staff members assigned special responsibility for such services?

The Library houses one computer with assistive programs and one Optelec magnifier designated for students with disabilities. Instruction on usage in the Library is not provided by the Library staff.
Equipment such as the Kurzweil 3000 Reading Machine, Dragon Dictate, Arkenstone Reader, tape recorders, and magnifiers are available on campus. Instruction on usage is through the DIsability Support Services.
