Anyone, including Howard County residents, is welcome to visit the HCC Library, study in CL-200 and use books from our Main Stacks collection in the library.

Because of increased student enrollment, there are some campus wide restrictions on community use to ensure availability for students.

Resources available to only currently enrolled HCC students, faculty & staff include:

  • library/college computers
  • printing
  • group study spaces
  • Silent Study Room
  • Reserves materials
  • borrowing privileges

Community users may attend public events hosted in the Library and Learning Commons.

Prior to visiting the library, you may want to consult the Library Hours to ensure that we will be open, especially near Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break, holidays & weather events.
