Please go to the library website and click on the tab that says "Databases."  You will see the alphabet appear; click on the letter "O."  From the list of databases that appears, please click on OPPOSING VIEWPOINTS IN CONTEXT.  When the database opens, click on the Advanced Search link (upper right corner, under the basic search box). 

In Advanced Search, change the options to KEYWORD search using the dropdown menu.  Now, on the first line, enter your keyword  mothers and on the second line enter prison and then click Search.

Your results will include viewpoints (pro and con articles) as well as academic journals, magazines and news articles.  this should be a good start for you.
