Yes, it is absolutely possible; you have two options.
As a CustomClass student, if you have paid $125 or more in tuition and fees for the current semester, you can get a student ID card from Security (located at RCF-117); remember to bring a reciept and copy of your registration, along with a photo ID (such as a driver's license) if you are eligible and elect to do this. A student ID would not only allow you to use the full services of the HCC Library, but would also allow you to use the computer labs on campus (however, only the Duncan Hall Lab--DH110--is open during the summer), and gym services (pool, tennis courts, and weight rooms) during the current semester that you are enrolled.
However, if you have spent less than $125 in tuition and fees this current semester, it is still possible to check out books from the library (however, you will not be able to log onto the wi-fi or onto any of the library computers). You can get a grey library card from the HCC Library by asking a librarian at the front counter (Circulation Desk) for one and bringing with you a reciept and copy of your registration, along with a photo ID (such as a driver's license). With either a grey library card or an HCC student ID, you will be able to check out the books that you desire.
