The HCC Library purchases a limited number of print study or exam preparation guides. To find the titles available in the HCC Library, search the Library Catalog using part of the exam title or its abbreviation - for example, NCLEX, CLEP, ACLS, ASVAB.
The Testing & Education Reference Center database (TERC) provides study materials & sample tests for a number of exams. In order to use some materials in this database, you will need to create an account within the database - this account is used to track your progress, take timed exams, etc.
The Howard County Public Library System has a number of print study or exam prep guides. Search their library catalog similar to the way you search our library catalog to locate titles of interest to you.
You may be able to try the Marina system to obtain an interlibrary loan for needed materials via the Howard County Library System - you give them the information about the book you're interested in & they will try to send out a request to locate a copy of the title for you. Please keep in mind that materials obtained via Marina may take up to two weeks to arrive.
