The answer depends on what type of video.movie you're trying to view online.

We do have some videos (PBS show, lectures, etc.) available online through our E-Reserves, if instructors have specifically asked us to place them there and we have licensed them for online streaming. You would need to connect to the E-Reserves content, find your course in the course listing & then view the needed video.

If you mean an actual full-length feature film (e.g., Parenthood), then you do have to come in (with headphones) and watch it in the library. Most feature length films in the HCC Library may only be borrowed by HCC faculty for classroom use - there are a few movies on Reserve that may be able to take it home (for 1 day), but you would still have to come in to check it out from the Service Desk. However, the Howard County Library System has a wide collection of feature length films - you may wish to check their catalog to find out if they have the title you need for check out.
