The Silent Study Room (CL-230) is supposed to be used for completely silent study in that space. There should be no talking and no one should even be listening to music (so even minimal headphone bleeding can be averted and there can be absolute silence).

As part of their hourly walkthrough of the Library, staff will ask groups working together or persons talking in the Silent Study Room to leave the space.

If there are times in-between those hourly checks where people are making noise, please come to the Service Desk and tell us, or if we're online, use the Chat tool and we'll let the Service Desk staff now about the noise issue.
