Can I take a Reserves book outside the library into a classroom?

I left my book at home and need the book for class.

Answer

If the Reserves book is listed as/has a label that indicates "Library use only", then the book needs to remain inside the library.

If the book is for a 1 day/2 day/1 week checkout, then you are welcome to take the book whre you need to use it.

The faculty member who placed the book on reserve determines the borrowing criteria for the item when they place it on reserve.
