How do I renew a book?

You can renew your books several ways:
- Online (as long as they're not already past due).
- Phone by calling the Check Out Desk at 443-518-1450 (when the Library is open).
- In person, even if you don't have the books or your library card with you. Just stop by the Library Services Desk in person and you can tell them your name/student number & they can renew your books.
If the items already have fines, then the fines don't go away until they are paid. In some cases, overdue books might be able to be renewed in person or over the phone (not online) - this can help to temporarily stop additional fines from accruing (unless they become overdue again).
